An Arizona woman was seriously injured in a two-car collision at the Loop 101 and Arizona 51 Wednesday morning.
Arizona Department of Safety spokesman Bart Graves said a westbound vehicle traveled underneath cable barriers, leaving the road, and struck an eastbound car on Loop 101. The female driver who crossed the barrier sustained serious injuries in the accident. She was transported to John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital.
The two vehicles were the only ones involved in the accident.
The condition of the other driver is unknown.
