The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona will be offering a short-course in Advanced Aircraft Accident Investigation from August 2-6, 2010.
The course is intended to be taken after completing their course in accident investigation management. The course will introduce students to the procedures of advanced aircraft investigation, including materials, design, and performance.
Other topics include, survivability, crash testing, emergency response, loads, and other mechanical and structural analysis.
The students will be able to work with simulated accidents in the nation's most complete crash facility, Embry-Riddle's Robertson Crash Laboratory.
