Two construction workers in Phoenix sustained third degree burns aftera crane swung into power lines and shocked them. The accident occurred at aconstruction site near 25^th Avenue and Broadway Road.

Officials from the Phoenix Fire Department say a crane operator wastalking to another worker through a headset, who was working in a trench 40feet below. The crane operator apparently moved the crane into a set of powerlines which shocked the two men through the headsets.

The two workers suffered third degree burns to their ears, head,chest, and legs from the shock. Both men were transported by emergency medicalservices to a Valley hospital for treatment.

The names of the workers have not been released. The Federal OccupationalHealth and Safety Administration are conducting a full investigation into theaccident.

According to fire officials, the accident occurred when the crane operator, who was talking to the two construction workers through headsets, accidentally swung the crane into nearby powerlines, shocking the men in headsets. The workers received third-degree burns to the ears, head, chest, and legs, and were rushed to the hospital. The crane operator is in critical condition.

A man who, was on leave from Iraq, has been burned in an accident at a gas station after a possible practical joke back fired and injured the man. 

A match was struck near the gas pump, which caused an explosion.  The man was said to have over 20% of burns on his body according to a family member.  The accident was caught on tape through security cameras.  

The individual who was not burned during the explosion initially runs away, but then returns to get to the car to rescue an infant that is inside.
